Virginia’s Daughter Bridal Boutique announced they will surprise their 200th bride with a free gown in celebration of the store’s first anniversary. The boutique is a Suffolk-based, family owned and operated business committed to helping brides feel and look beautiful on their special day. They will also offer $200 off bridal gown orders throughout the month of June, 2022. A celebration at Virginia’s Daughter Bridal Boutique is scheduled for Sunday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public.

“We’re excited to welcome back all brides we’ve had the pleasure to serve, as well as new brides still looking for their gown. It is important for us to make each customer’s experience unforgettable. We are truly honored to be a part of this very intimate, powerful time in a bride’s journey,” said Allison Alderman, owner. “We want our brides to feel at home, relaxed, and heard. The connections we make with our brides and their families are rewarding and let us know that we are doing it right!”

Owner Allison Alderman, a graduate from Old Dominion University with a degree in fashion merchandising, partnered with her mother-in-law Denise Janowiak, to open the boutique in 2021. Janowiak has experience in opening multiple small businesses. Alderman and her mother, Virginia, work at the boutique and together welcome each and every customer that comes in.

With limited options available for brides in the local area, the opening of Virginia’s Daughter Bridal Boutique offers a much-needed solution. It also attracts brides from the Richmond, Charlottesville, and North Carolina areas. The boutique carries over 100 gowns, has veil and shoe options, Mother of the Bride dresses, and gift baskets for the bridal party.
